So, last week I returned from my jolly's in sunny Palma and contray to what might be visible in these pictures this is the most I have ever tanned. I am obviously not taking into account the stupid years when I was younger and in denial and would sit in the sun and burn with NO, yes, No SPF on! In fact I burnt one year so bad on a family holiday to Capri that we now use that as a burnt scale. I'm not joking my little sister recently visited Venice (ah, the life of a student) and burnt but scaled it on a 'yeah it's a Hollie on Capri circa 2009 burn'. Yeah, cheers family! I am happy to say I have learnt a lesson and now use SPF. Anyway, less about my glorious, yet very slight tan. One thing I always seem to find myself doing while on holiday is begin to lust after winter clothes. I know, its silly isn't it? I wait all year for a my moment in the sun and then while I'm there I'm lusting after winter clothes. Needless to say, the day after my return to good old England I went and bought some winter boots and these amazing trousers from River Island. But unfortunately, mother nature did not get my 'bought new winter boots would like to wear them' memo and I have to compromise and it ultimately lead to this casual, and I would say, perfect mid-season outfit, which, I have to say, is one of my favourites, mainly because of the trousers. I love how a bit of ankle fray can make an outfit/life more interesting.
Oh and if your fan of a film montage check out my blog on Monday for a holiday style medley.
