Pink, the big colour trend you hate to love

How to style Pink ft New Look, PVC and Puma

How to style Pink ft New Look, PVC and Puma

I'm sorry to say guys, but pink is in! Why sorry? For me it comes down to the use of the colour in films, often with the ditzy character drowning in pink. Or it could be the fact that as a female the colour pink is rammed down your throat from day one. In fact, I would probably bet that every child when they are born have been given a gender specific coloured gift, and if your a girl, don't ask why, its pink. So, if I have a clear aversion to the colour, why have I been rocking the most in your face pink puffer? Because right now I am starting to fall back in lust with it again. Why not love? I don't think our relationship is quite there yet!

How to style a Bralette ft Boohoo.com

A casual way to style a Bralette ft Boohoo.com, misguided and Office shoes

A casual way to style a Bralette ft Boohoo.com, misguided and Office shoes

Gone have the days were that washed out grey'ish comfy bra was fine, now, more than ever, the bra or the bralette is queen, especially when it comes to giving an outfit a certain 'je ne sais quoi'. Now don't panic, I am not saying that you need to go all Mean Girls on me and cut holes in your tops like Regina George but it is definitely a subtle way of adding detail to an outfit. So when Boohoo.com got in touch with me and asked if I would style one of their bra's from their lingerie range showcasing the trend or the aptly named 'peek-a-boohoo' trend I was firstly bloody thrilled with that pun and secondly intrigued. Before agreeing, I naturally did a spot of research i.e. had a good look on their website lingerie page you can do some 'research' here and I must say I was pleasantly surprised, not only by the choice, but also by the price! Okay, so after doing some 'research' or basically making a mental checklist of everything that needed to be in my life/underwear draw the challenge began...

Testing Trends: Off the shoulder outerwear

How to style clothes of the shoulder.

Testing trends

Off the shoulder outerwear, or basically not wearing your coat properly, seems to be trend that has been floating around for a while. In fact, before I started writing this post I toyed with the idea of calling it 'The kardashian trend' because, lets face it, recently in nearly all the pictures of them they have forgotten how to wear their coats on their shoulders. In the end I settled upon 'Testing Trends'  because I will often see street style pictures and think 'yes' these off duty models running around after a fashion show look fabulous wearing something or styling it a certain way, but really, how wearable is it? So on Saturday, I decided I was ready for a fun filled day of not wearing my coat properly and getting cold shoulders (my Nana would not approve).
