Hey guys and dolls. So if you checked out my post on Monday you will know that today's post is the 2nd part in a two part post. If you haven't had a chance to peruse Monday's post yet, you can check it out here. So, on Monday I talked about how you can add colour to a casual winter outfit and today's post is all about adding little twists to a more basic winter outfit.

1. Accessories
I mentioned on Monday about how accessories can be a great way of adding colour. So with today's outfit to add a little twist I have added a tartan scarf, which in itself is not really that out there or infact that crazy on the colour side of things but because the base colour of the scarf is white it feels brighter. Jeez, could I say colour or scarf more in that paragraph?

2.All about the bottom half.
The bottom half of your body is where the party is at. That's right, the trouser area. Again, like Monday's post (link here) I have opted for pattern but this time gone classic... Pinstripe navy and white.

3. A classic twist.
Despite the above sounding like a delicious cocktail and feel free to add that as an accessory. I am talking about coupling items you wouldn't normally, to give it a twist. For example, classic pinstripe trousers with trainers is perhaps not the most obvious but it does seem to work and its super practical.

4. Oversized Knitwear.
Like I have mentioned in a previous post (see here) oversized knitwear is a big trend this season but that doesn't mean you need to walk around looking like you are wearing a tent. Instead, play with the length of the sleeves or the body. Take it from waist length to bum length and your on the right tracks.
